Avoid all tld managed by the US : .com .org .net .biz .tv and a few others

Good registrar: internet.bs or check chinese registrars (domainerschoice.com for example).


.li .ch are cheap and should be safe from seizure.

.me not sure but many sites uses it, no seizures yet

countries for actual hosting:

switzerland, ukraine, canada, china... but links, no content!

ncncnc you don't know the word International...Bad for you.

I know all countries (states) of the TLD's so don't tell me about them.


Learn first the word and later come back say it to me.

haha you are not understand me.

All can use the word International for everything about all countries etc etc...

So I have prefered the TLD-s for you because are most used and visited TLD-s.
If you will have much of visitors use than use .COM

But for warez sites don't buy it to the famous companies, ex: godaddy or other famous companies.

So use other websites to buy your warez domain name at gossimer.com, netearthone.com etc...

I'm a little bad in English but I think I have write good about your question !

Ok I understand the value of .com and I also having daily visitors of 20000-25000 on my blog.
But these tld's come under America.
If I grew large, there will be more chance of getting seized than other domain extension.
Thats why many torrent sites moved to anti-dmca countries like Sweden, European union etc.

Atlast, I wants to say that safety is better than cure.
If I post something unique and something before anyone (like I am doing right now on my blog) surely I will get tons of visitors everyday.
 
Thats with only some sites. And most of the sites take long time to attract such attention to get domain seized! thepiratebay is so old and just a few years back it was that it faced issues.
So just get it for now and think about future in... future?
Also, its Precaution is better than cure

And I believe yours is a comics site? Comics don't attract so much attention as much as movies and TV Shows do.

So if you hope to make your warez site so Famouse you can also take a European TLD but and .com or another as movie2k.com & movie2k.to

thepiratebay.org & thepiratebay.se

Etc etc. ;)
 
This thread is getting useless now. You've got enough suggestions and you are still over-thinking?

If you think you are that 'big' just look at the big ones. .me/.se/.ws

If they want you down, they will get you down.
