I did a couple of test on the VPS. seems like a good little machine to host a website. I've seen faster I/O but it's more than enough for most small websites one would host on a VPS, network is not bad considering that the server is in the ukraine... cant say if the network is stable on long...

Right now i'd say privatelayer (check chvps.com, discounts available @ lowendbox.com) is the best, netelligent is good but expensive. Ecatel in NL is good DC too.

rec if it's a file sharing site and not a huge seedbox, you don't need much bandwidth! I'd recommend leaseweb (superb network) to start with or maybe ovh canada (they did open a dc there, that way if your site becomes famous quickly, you can add a reverse proxy with netelligent for example)...
