In the food industry nothing gets wasted, and the larger scale of production (and we are talking about millions of chickens) the greater part of machines is involved.

What is this - strawberry ice creams in the picture? =) No, you fool ! That pink thing is mechanically separated chicken meat. :O

Chickens are passed through a large grinder, which should, in principle, separate the meat from the bones, but in practice everything - meat, eyes, intestines and bone fragments are milled into such pretty pink mush.

Ok but this is not the end folks, because in such "meat" there is a lot of bacteria, so we need to get rid of it, right ? No problem ammonia will help us to kill bacteria! Hooray! =D
