I had somekind of debate with real-life friends about scene groups and, for my surprise, I concluded that I was the one who would take the risk of being part of the scene.
Even worst, I got the feeling that for them it was stupid to risk so much, waste time and effort to win no(money)thing.

Where's the thrill to be part of a group that risk something to do something above the average? It sucks that no one is ready to take a risk to have fun.

I'd take the risk if I got a nice team to work with.... would you?

(this is no intent of create nothing but to know your opinions)

I have the utmost respect for Scene groups. They give us (leechers) what we want, and everybody seems to forget about them.

In answer to your question, if I was able to do it, then yes I would be a part of a Scene group.

If You are a part of a good grp, there is no money ofcourse, but, if the grp releases top quality movies, tvshows etc, there are things that make this worth a while...100TB+ archive sites with 90% of rls being pred over the years in some sections... this is what most of the ppl like the most, apart of crazy fast topsites that come along.

I voted for no... You really need a dedication for that...

If you're interested, there was a 'tv'show that showed to the public how the scene groups worked. It's based on the real deal and I liked it very much:

Thank you very much :) I hope it is worth watching cuz I download those episodes right now ;) Tnx again

Would you explain the first part, K3V? Also, no one argued about the required dedication, but the fact that that dedication was stupid when no money was involved.

A website was started a few years ago by a 'scene group', - Started from an idea on WJ funny enough, however, it failed.

Its difficult to get a group of people (with different ideas and goals) to work together in person, let alone over the net.

A team as opposed to a group might work. :)
