Would have some advice

I would start a new forum And I would have some advice
First, I ask If I have to open all my forum to guests or just create a guests section.
Second, I ask If I have to open V.I.P section or not
And I want you to give some advice to have a good forums
And I would know what kind of advertissement system (like adsense, adbrite) I have to use.

it all depends on what sort of forum you want to create and how you want it set out... i use adsense for my site.

yeah have guests view all forums but have to register to post/download and vip would be good

Don't let guests view the whole forum or you won't get any registered members. Make a guest section for them. Don't open the VIP section straight away, let the site grow and once its big (Hopefully) then make one. :P

No offense but I think its totally lame that even BEFORE your site is online, you are already looking for a way to make money from it. Let me tell you that if you are new to the business you have NO chance since this summer all warez forums started popping up. ONLY the people who were already active in the scene will be able to keep their site active and maybe develop an ACTIVE comminuty. First focus your goal on BUILDING UP the community, after you have a good forum, THEN start thinking about a way to monetize it.

Nice Whoo. Unless you have a dedicated server that you need to pay for, don't worry about advertising, unless your too cheap to dish out $3/month...

1. Closed vs. Open - if you want 0 post members and impressive stats, make a guest section, if you want an intuitive/intelligent community that its strength is in content, make it open. So your sure to get members sign-ups of high-quality.

2. Don't worry about the VIP section yet, until you build up your content and traffic flow.

3. Some Advice: nice clean layout, easy to navigate categories, and a nice staff

4. Adbrite/Clicksor/CPX Interactive and maybe Chitika/Widgetbucks for ads (but like I said previous. don't worry about it. You will not make any money.) AdSense = no go for warez.

i agree with falcon dont worry about advertisments as of now and open up vip when u have like 10k members :bloodlust:
