Wordpress Posting Limit Plugin fix

Hello ,

I have a WP blog . i need to put posting limit on my authors . Well i used this plugin WordPress ? Bainternet Posts Creation Limits « WordPress Plugins

i created a new limit by the Settings > Post Creation Limits
Author, 50 posts, per 24 hours
but the Author can't even make one post, they see the "limit message" set from when you create a new limit
so basically posting seems disabled

So can anyone help with some better plugin ? or can suggest me some solution for above plugin ?

Hmm sorry to say but it wasnt updated since 2 years , so i guess it wont work !

Did you even try it? I still use some old plugins and they work just fine.
