Loget we discussed majorty vote sorry I'll be your personal mod to assist you in removing unneeded posts :).

Anyways new rules are not to be focused on staff moding but instead a list of what is allowed and how to post it

^^ hamza its already been discussed there wont be any rep system or voting system as it will be abused.

also whats it matter if people say trusted seller? it just make them look bad when that person ends up scamming everyone.

sure they may have held there end up in your transaction but who or what says they will in the next? Dealing on the internet is like Russian roulette, you never know what will happen 100% of the time

We should have iTrader since we can't say "Trusted Seller".
If used properly then it could really work out well and if rules were set for iTrader to include transaction details about cost then we could know how trusted some body could be but if its all like $5 transactions then we would know to keep in mind we may get scammed.

Yea i think itrader would really work out if there were some rules to it.

I'll be breaking that rule on a regular basis. I'm not going to be reporting posts... I'm a moderator.

I won't be told when I can and cannot moderate my threads, no way, if somebody trolls my threads or flames me in them, I'll delete the posts like I would do if it happened in any other thread.

If you can't follow rules being a mod, how can you expect normal members to? This is what I call bloody hypocrisy. I hope the admin starts banning mods who don't give a toss about the staff rules!

On Topic, good rules I must say. And I don't think a "Trusted Seller" comment from non-customers is necessary either. That will be unfair to new members who don't have any reputation. Well known members will get their friends to comment "Trusted Seller" in their sale threads to increase sales. Let the buyers decide for themselves who is trusted and who is not. They can always search for past reviews if they are so worried.

I follow rules, just not stupid rules that don't make any sense. So somebody replies "fuck you loget" in a thread of mine, I'm supposed to report the post and let another moderator deal with it when I can do it in 10 seconds? Wheres the logic in that.

I have the power to do something but I have to let somebody else who also has that power do it for me? Wtf. :S

^ I would like to support Loget onto it. Atleast he can close the thread but not delete the thread which is supposed to be against him./

Atleast mod should have that freedom. -_-

The logic behind that is that many mods abuse their powers in their own sale threads to gain significant advantage over normal sellers. Many mods simply get rid of negative comments about their service/item they are selling however true it might be and that is a gross violation of marketplace practices.

So in order to avoid that, it's a great idea to have another mod look at it first. I think SniffDog proposed this idea first, so hats off to him.

Loget,
It's not about that. Saying to someone "fuck you" isn't same like, won't tell it. But you know what I mean, point is. That mods shouldn't be deleting posts which they think are not right. Even though, there's no insulting in them.

Of course you should and you can delete the thread, post. Or anything that's insulting, or not right. But deleting something that you don't like, isn't the same thing.

Then what's the point in aproving a rule or set of rules knowing beforehand that some members of the staff won't follow them? 8-)

It's kinda weird to see a mod anouncing new rules and then another mod comes right along saying he won't follow a given rule.

And you still complain about flaming and hate threads 8-)

This is what peanut said about the rule:

lol Loget you can close your own threads lol you just cant delete flamers and trolls posts till you report them and have another staff member do it

In my eyes, "troll posts" or "flamers" are posts like "loget fuck you" and not negative feedback, anybody that deletes legitimate negative feedback in their thread is clearly abusing their powers. Thats not the issue here. What were talking about is trolling / flaming in my own thread, I would delete it if it happened in any other thread; why can't I delete it in my own thread?

According to this rule, when I see a trolling/flaming post in my sales thread I would have to report it, then wait until it gets deleted, whats wrong with me deleting it by myself and if its more then one post (which it often is) I would need to report all the posts one by one. Screw that.

@tres: Yep, I won't follow rules that don't make any sense, this is the problem whenever rules are added to a forum, a few retarded ones always slip in that don't make any sense whatsoever. Most of the rules are fine except for this one. Its a crazy rule that adds more workload on to the staff.

I am sure a lot of members here don't agree with all the rules and some of them don't make much sense to us either. So let's all start making our own rules and do whatever we like.

There is something called "freedom of speech", atleast I hope there is. If someone doesn't like you, he should be allowed to say "fuck you Loget". We all have had to hear that sometime or the other on the internet and even in real life. Be a man and suck it up!

That's not true Loget, when someone writes only "Your site sucks" , "You don't kno shit". It should be deleted. But It's not same as constructive criticism. You write lots of shit, and nig comes and delete your post, how would you feel?

He's got nothin to say, so he deletes. That's only option he has.
