BlaZe dont you think you are being a bit too over confident after getting that POOP color?

All we are saying is, if it failed in the past it doesnt mean we should not try it out now. Now we have a different set of people running things.

And about my work, I guess your new color does not give you the right to talk like the crap you are.

Hope you get my point, and dont take this in the wrong way, AGAIN!

Ah well I apologize. I didn't meant it, and thats why I wrote "/jk"

Anyways, as far as I know, I and every other member here is free to provide what he thinks of a new proposed idea.

Just because you want that to happen, and I'm opposing it as I stated my points, its not necessary and mature enough to target my rank.

Its like trying to steal a candy from the kid who is standing next you.

The "idea" behind that is, if you write good with proper English, you'd be actually busy with your website writing articles, or you'd be busy in real life with some proper job.
Not true and quiet the opposite. I have a full time professional job (studies in university for 5 years to get it) and considered a blog of my own several times. I actually coded it and bought a domain (site-tutorials.com) but discovered I didn't have the time to run it to the level I wanted. The site never went live. It's actually this type of people WJ is looking for with some free time and good knowledge but not enough time to run their own site.

This place is already complete and perfect. There is not much room for improvement. So lets just continue WJunction as its running now and close this discussion of opening a dull blog.
DEVILS WORDS!!!!

Nothing is ever complete or perfect. Everyone can always do better and you should always be looking for ways to improve.

Newsletter has been around 2009, lol. Me and countless others have failed to start it again. Only dude to get it to work was the owner of CysForum.

Seifer only helped with the first addition of the newsletter (an article contribution only), it was Golden Falcon, michigan, DJ Norix, myself, Elio and a few others that made it. I wouldn't want to make another one, can't be asked wasting my time.

Basically, we could move NEWS/TUTORIALS section to blog, but with different conditions on posting there.

Umm, thats a good idea. Anyone could submit a news/tutorial and that'd need a validation from any staff, or we can appoint 2 more people as Editor staff (or any catchy name for this usergroup) and have them handle this part as you said earlier :D

Yes, exactly my thoughts.Ok, we're moving toward something constructive here.

This way, those sections would be filtered from lots of copy paste posts, which I made myself few times, but I seriously try to add at least 1-2 lines of my own thoughts (ah, justifications)
Yeah, copy paste posts seriously undermine onsite SEO (dupes), and even copyrights.

The only people that have any useful information are busy people, and they aren't going to write useful tutorials to increase traffic for this forum when you get random perma-banned because someone is having a bad day, for free, while the red team reap all the rewards. Why would somebody do that lol. It doesnt make any sense. The only people that are going to write decent stuff are those that are reaping the rewards for the traffic it will bring. Those people are obviously too busy, and is the reason it has failed numerous times already.

Why not man?

I made few tuts myself here, never charged anything to anyone, or asked something in return. Problem here is, that you don't have to focus or require dedicated writers for that section, anyone can submit article, editors will check it, if there's quality in it, it will be published, if not, then wth, rejected, or corrected.

Look at it as news/tutorial section, with strict rules about publishing.
We can also have area, where people can ask for certain tutorials, and, when someone have free time, he can look on ideas, what tutorial to make, pick the area of his interest, and write tutorial about that.
For ex. someone wants tutorial about winrar, ask for it in proper section, anyone can see that section, and, if he has free time, write tut ,and submit...easy.
Blog can easily be removed, if it doesn't work. But, not trying to make one is far worse choice.

There is like 30.000 potential writers, every member can potentially write something. So, there's something that can possibly give results.

I would love to write tutorials and post them around but there's definitely a time constraint because I've got a full time professional job too :)

I took the domain - techleaked.com from ProtoWorker to start a tech blog and share my tutorials. It ended because I was out of home and didn't have enough time to even open it once a week (or maybe a month)!

Most of you are talking about contributing but when the time comes, will you actually contribute? I remember when certain members stated they'd help with the magazine with Mindy but started to make excuses. If you say you can contribute, then contribute if you can't then don't say you will.

Lemme add something more, that could be good for both writers, and WJ.
For example, publisher of article, could backlink to his site. So, all owners of blogs/article writers would benefit, links would go back and forth, and it's win-win situation. It's basics of SEO, 1 on 1
If people realize this, they would willingly write articles, and get juice of backlinks to their site, and authority of WJ would rise.

why should it be blog.wjunction, may be someone can collective together start a blog alone , lead by some senior person, so that all rewards, wont to the "reds" alone here :)

WJ can't even do a decent Twitter account which is only 140 characters. How's it meant to do full custom written articles?

Forget the blog until the Twitter is fixed. If you can't even run a decent twitter account then you've no hope of a blog.

We have to meet the basic requirements to first spread through the social networks.

Digital Point has such a wonderful and working twitter, and it does help them a lot, hence they spend time on it. Just as Mr Happy said

About the blog, we definitely should do it with also concentrating on the social networks.

As Hawk said, we first need to organise a set of people who will REALLY contribute and not only talk.

I write not keeping the fact in my mind that how much traffic will my words attract but I do it, with the hope that who ever reads it will be set in to a trance of motion of thoughts related to what I wrote.

I just hope these things work out for WJ, as it will be great for readers like me to read what my fellow members have to say.

I hope I was not wrong any where there

How do you even compare those two? Since when it's necessary to have twitter account, before having article blog?

Nobody here has an insight into the warez world that the staff of TorrentFreak do not.

If you're one of the few people that does, I doubt you're going to spent your time writing articles..

I would be willing to contribute my time to write some tutorials, tips, articles, etc on some sort of official WJunction "blog".

I would however want a team behind me to help out, especially with the theme so as to ensure it looks somewhat similar to the forum.

Ultimately the blog would provide something of value to every WJunction member. A place which you can visit to read about SEO, Marketing, Programming, Design, etc. I'm also thinking a special "Resources" page containing common webmaster tools would be useful.

You would also be notified somehow through the forum whenever there is a new blog post so you are constantly kept up-to-date.

Out of curiosity, who would be willing to really contribute content to such a blog if it were created?
