OK i got it working now.

I know what the issue is.

When i click install on MySql in Windows 7 you need to have the command Prompt running with administration privs to (un)install services

Make your C# application execute the command under Adminstrator Privs.

Jobs a good one.

Also i will use this version but you need to migrate phpmyadmin out of public html....

@litewarez, thanks for figuring out, will fix that. New patch will be released tomorrow.

also phpmyadmin will be moved to root in next version.

Let me know

Is it me or is the PHP Memory limit set at 128 ?? if so lower that to 32MB, its not needed to be that high.

PhpMyAdmin to root ddirectory (add it to the /php/) folder.

Also try and make it so its USB Comapatable, Meaning now C:\wjserver\ instead \wjserver\

Why use this over proven software such as XAMPP? I think it would be better to use XAMPP as your base. Only reinvent the wheel when you know you'll have a better wheel ;).

Try telling tat to michelin (tyre company).

Why did you not tell this to all the sites that started a ddl site when katz,*****, and the even older ones come out. haha saved us some time.

But no.. its a good idea. it has a much better dir structure than xampp, s faster Control Panel GUI and to be honest i do like it apart from it has to be installed to C:\ this needs to change asap.

He could of started another forum or ddl.. instead they have done something new to the community, same as that Warez Distro of linux a while back.

http://windows.php.net/snapshots/ sorry my bad i was using examples on the fact he needs to be up to date, never even checked the nightly builds pages

Lol lite, you're gonna make me sound like a hater now.

I'm not saying this is a bad idea, or a bad project for that matter. It's a project like any other :). All I'm saying is that this project would be better of using something stable as a base for a fork. XAMPP for example has a good and simple GUI and dir structure. On top of that it includes a lot more handy packages and has had years worth of development and testing (security is also a concern). All that he would need to do using XAMPP is redo the PHP homepage and GUI and go from there, focusing on the stuff that matters.

@litewarez, current progress:
- MySQL error fixed.
- phpMyAdmin moved to root dir.

Now im working on the code, trying to make it USB compatible........

Ok, what you want to do is recompile the installer to take a directory value.. on the install complete action run a batch script to modify all configs needed but sending in the directory root from the installer.

This way you can always use the batch script in other ways for example.. Relocation .. migrating tto and from usb -> pc / pc -> usb..

This is a god idea.
