Why is telegram so popular now?

Because..

1) All the scumbag pedos are on it

2) Content theives use telegram to monetize their pirated content

3) USA and Europe are imposing age verification on legit sites hosted in their nations. So, minors use it to swap porn

4) 3rd world scamers use it to find suckers & scam a legit business into giving them an online job.

5) Cam models have figured out how to use Telegram to make money without giving some platform 20% - And they can do things like piss on camera, race play, incest, etc.

Lesson 1 - How to profit from pedophiles using Telegram

1. Use a very young looking model. nb: She /he must be 18 but look 12

2. Put them on Telegram looking for pedophiles

3. Have them arrange a time and place where the pedophile can come to meet them in person

4. When the pedophile shows up, surprize them with a baseball bat and a camera

5. Film yourself breaking the pedophiles knees and genitals with the bat.

6. Take the money in their wallet and upload the video to your website hosted in Gabon

7. Monetize the website via crypto donations and premium content behind paywall.
 
what i dont get about telegram is how some groups (that are specifically for pirated content) stay up but others get shutdown. This telegram group has over 530,000 subscribers (t.me/pornodrive), over 31,000 videos, telegram hosts these videos for free and streams them to users for free but the admin makes money by sending users to purchase premium account to view more videos.

considering this is just one group, there would have to be thousands doing the same thing, how is telegram making any money at all? the server costs must be insane

Telegram’s popularity seems driven more by convenience than pure security. It syncs across devices without your phone, supports massive groups, bots, large file sharing, and offers plenty of customization. Many think it’s fully secure, but only Secret Chats are end-to-end encrypted.
