Which route do i go?

Right, trying to make my mind up on what to do and such, so far i've got afew ideas/niches to do.

1.Mac related forum
2.Leaked music infomation/artwork on a blog ( no downloads )
3.Torrent/Warez infomation/invites/reviews etc on a forum.

I've the style/layout for each one all planned out and ready etc.

Make them all? If you've already got the style/layout then why not choose to make all those ideas real.

i'd rather not do all 3, i couldnt dedicate time to all 3, 1 at a time yes untill it gets to a certain level then maybe start another one.

I talked through this with you on Elite.SO...The mac forum all the way, especially with the iPhone 5 and *NEW* Mac Mini to be released round october build up SEO and watch the traffic come flying in. Additionally more and more people are turning to mac and the mac forums the main one thats active really does suck, a modern one needs creating. Good luck and you know I will support you through that.

Stay away from Warez. Mac related forum, however, seems like a good idea.

go for the one that really interests you (to stay motivated and enjoy what you're doing which is very important imo)
and I suggest you choose a legal website > more possibilities in the future

Just to let you all know GeeZus is in the first stages of opening the 'mac' forum. It is under development and looks like it is going to be an invite only forum so we will see how things go. For now he is just uploading modifications and tweaking the theme. I will also be assisting him with some small parts such as graphics, I will be designing and coding a new custom postbit for IPB..etc. Just sit tight because the site will be released very very soon. (y)

We were in the shoutbox there and he was talking about an invite only feature for the site.

Saying that eSO is a private invite only webmaster and programming forum and has done okay.

Well, the actual first few months atleast won't be invite only.

I'm not bothered about loads of members, to be honest i'd be well happy if it had like 20+ online and a small database of members knowing they WILL come back unlike other forums.
