Well since I need want to start my own web hosting company where to buy a VPS?
I am currently with Santrex.net and i heard people get suspended for no reason or such. I just want to get a VPS where it can be reliable and a good price not over doing it.

Spetsnaz I've heared some good and bad with that place I never really cared for there shared hosting but I do hear there vps are pretty good though.

All i want is a good place for a VPS that won't suspend me for no reason at all you know what I mean? And what may be some good specs to run a good web-hosting industry company?

my bad I forgot to tell you to check out eboundhost.com there a usa based.. Specs I'd recommend vps wise would be 80 gbs of space 1 - 4 gbs of ram 1 Tb - max the provider you go to provides.. then again it narrows down to what type of control panel you want as well that be one for cpanel/whm

There hosting is kinda bites a bit last when I was client I had alot of downtime however that was a few years ago they've probably improved by now.. They do monitor there vps for malicious activity though which is set to auto suspend it can be nice some however and can be inconvenience for you and your clients.

looking for a VPS to host shared hosting? That's a bit weird... normall people use dedicated servers but heck if you're cheaping out then that's your and your customer's issue...

fatfigher ~ It depends how long he's been in business if he's starting few months to a year a vps is the right choice the fact that he could loose money getting fully dedicated server. If starting from the bottom to the top isn't normal then someone is looking at the picture upside down.

Spetsnaz as long as you follow the tos your good. I agree with m107 if thats your only option do it it never hurts however I do recommend off site backup solution.

if i do backups i am thinking of storing them on my disks at home where they can be safe.

Guys, even most famous provider like altushost may lost your datas! Uou know what happened these days.

Simply upload your files to reliable filehosts like rapidsahre or filefactory or box.
Just never trust any Server or VPS. You wont regret, believe me ;)
