Where To Acquire Subtitles For Movies

hi guys another dumb question,
where do sites like fmovies acquire their subtitles? I'm guessing not manually as sometimes they have like 10 subtitles for their movies? anyone has any leads? I mean manually finding 3 to 4 subtitle languages for 50k movies might take years to complete~

any help or direction will help~

If I had to take a guess they probably get it from either whatever their download source is, or, perhaps more likely, something like opensubtitles' API: https://trac.opensubtitles.org/projects/opensubtitles/wiki/XMLRPC

maybe I should try writing a python script to accomodate the opensubtitles api...

Hey! They download subs from moviesubtitles or Subscene and then add them via Subtitle Workshop or Movavi video editor to their videos - URL. There are many subtitle downloader bots
