You will need to start by installing a webserver on you VPS if you want to use it to host a website. If done with that you need to make sure your domain is "linked" to the VPS, do so by putting your VPS'es IP as the A record of your domain. If you don't know how to do this: Create an account with dnsever.com. Once logged in copy paste your nameservers, and fill the in with your registrar as the domain's nameservers. Then go back to DNServer and add your domain, and fill in your VPS'es IP as the main A record for your domain...

just google it. there are many tutorials on how to manage a VPS.

what's to install etc. if you are new to VPS then a cPanel like KLOXO would be the easiest way for you. ;)
