i'm gonna start a brand new website. Adult Comics r going to b posted there on filehosts. I'm totally confused as im a newbie, did some blogging before, but badly need your help.

Since you want just to start a new site, you definitely should go for shared hosting, do not spent a lot of money (at the beginning), if the site grows then you easily can upgrade.

Go for shared hosting. Also go offshore, as I'm not sure whether adult stuff are allowed in US, and moreover, these are gonna be copyrighted stuff, so yeah, offshore. Netherlands will be good in my opinion. You will get decent hosting for say $4-5/month.
