What is the best trilogy of all time?

Well, it's not really a trilogy (rather, a duology), but these are probably the best movies I've seen in a long time: Tropa de elite and Tropa de elite 2 (Elite Squad and Elite Squad 2 in English).
It's a couple of Brasilian movies about BOPE, the famous military police squad which fights druglords in the slums.
The second movie is more about political corruption and is even better than the first.
They almost made a third one, but it was cancelled.

I think Lord of the Rings is the best Option.
