TechCompanyPay is a new site where you can find out what the world’s top technology companies pay their employees. Built by Google engineer Gareth Jones, the site provides links to LinkedIn accounts, if you’re the stalker type, and allows you to search for companies by name and location.

In case you were wondering (I know I was), Twitter tops the average salary list at $US120,111. Apple sneaks into second with $US113,319, while LinkedIn rounds out the top 3 at $US111,720. Google makes 5th by a good US$8000, at $US104,594.

Unless you’re in a high-paying job yourself, it’s a good way to make yourself depressed on a Sunday afternoon. Or happy, if you realise you could be earning more in your current position and are confident about making it happen.

Always remember their employees would be earning tons of cash but would have no social life. They would just be working their asses off. I can bet even their holidays would be spent in office only. Ultimately you kinda turn out to be a workoholic. :P

It's per annum

No matter how much they, you have no idea how much they expect in return. No one in this world will pay you tons, just coz they are a big company. More the number, more the pain

Actually it's much better than your average corporation. For example google let's you develop any kind of open source project during your working hours, they give many non-salary benefits, lets you bring your pet to office, and whole atmosfere in office is "loose" - basically you can do anything you want, as long as you do your job.

There is one funny thing about all the MNCs of the world - They give you hell lot of money but they don't give you time to spend that money :)

PS: trying to get into Google btw :P

I know many people who work for twitter, and these don't seem to be that accurate.. maybe the huge pay of the developers drives up the average..

Is this the Monthly salary or Per Annum ?
If its Per Annum, then not a big deal :S

With 28,768 Employees now i think its big deal bro
And what about indirect Income bro

Google 104k is low when they make like 1 to 4 billion a yr

Revenue : US$ 29.321 billion (2010)
Operating income : US$ 10.381 billion (2010)
Profit : US$8.505 billion (2010)
Total assets : US$57.851 billion (2010)
Total equity : US$46.241 billion (2010)

100k is very hard to make...

MOST like 95% of the US make less then 100k a year...
SO yeah 100k is alot to anyone... Remember tho statistics doesn't count commission type jobs.

You might just be making 500$ a week, but if your very good at what you do you can earn up to 5-10k a week topping 100k easy a year...
