* Fast and knowledgeable support staff. Support tickets answered under 1 hour. No "canned" replys
* Non-overloaded servers (budget hostings most common problem)
* Fast network connection (1Gbit)
* Reasonable hosting software configuration (not too restricted security settings)
* No "unlimited everything" offers, make this offer smell fischy :P and usually shows that service is highly oversold
