ok I thought I would start this thread as well I am thinking of starting my own host, but I know what I like to see from hosts as I have been using them for a good few years - but what do you guys want from them?

pay per sale standard
pay per sale including rebills
pay per download
pay per download + commission

any other ideas? shoot them :)

include 1000$ per 1000 DL, also 100% from sales, and 10Gbit uploading speeds, at least...
Also, rebills. And no filesize limits, everything can be downloaded as free user, no tiers, rankings.... :)

A few ideas,
i hope they are reasonable (idea is that the affiliate can choose between these):

Tier 1:
$25 per 1k downloads + 20% Sales + 5% Website + 10% referrals + rebills
Tier 2:
$35 per 1k downloads + no sales + 5% Website + 10% referrals + no rebills
Tier 3:
$0 per 1k downloads + 65% sales + 5% Website + 10% referrals + rebills
Tier 4:
$0 per 1k downloads + no sales + no Websites + 30% referrals + no rebills
Tier 5:
$0 per 1k downloads + no sales + 15% Websites + 0% referrals + no rebills


400mb/1gb free user download limit switch-able between by affiliate.
 
I was thinking

$20/1000 downloads + 15% of sales + 5% webmaster + 20% referals. - no rebills
$0/1000 downloasd + 60% of sales + 5% webmaster + 20% referals + rebills
or
$35/1000 downloads + 0% of sales + 5% webmasters + 20% referals


I think they are fair - but well im looking for other's opinions
 
Make as many as possible as think about the:

People who like PPD
People who like PPS
Website Owners
Referral Whores (you will like them as they get you more affiliates)

Mix and Match a bit that's how you can make yourself unique
instead of having similar ones which are already out there.
 
buy a couple of huge porn forums warez sites on the first google search page and then ban other filehosts who r a threat and let only the useless ones and make sure u let uploaders post only premium links, see how ur sales will go sky high :D
 
When filehosts increase the payout there is usually more shaving to compensate and yes alot of file hosts shave. So you want 110% revshare? They'll shave even harder.

What I want are more file hosts that are equally big in size. This way they have to compete with each other. Whether or not they shave i'll go with the one that gives me the most money per day.
