I don't really like the skin and to be honest the whole thing is a bit too out of the box looking I think. By that I mean it looks like you just installed vb and added a skin. You need to customize it with favicon, decent logo, forum icons, remove the spam posts, fix the image above the side login area or remove the login area as their's another top right.
Never have areas with 0 posts. As a admin you should make at least one post. It look really bad having 0 posts in so many topics. It's ok but I don't think it's anything special.
