Want to make a Private FTP for site. Need help

Hey everyone. I am interested in making a private FTP server for my site so I can upload movies, games, appz, ect. to it. How do I start one and where can I buy one that allows the uploading of this content?

If you want to have really a PRIVATE ftp, then you can host it anywhere.
