Hello Wj,

Ofc, most of us knows about this!

vps = virtual private server
rdp = remote desktop protocol

But what is the differences between these two? I'd love to see each comment and ofc, to the one will provide a good explanation. :D:D

Thanks...<3

RDP is just a account in which you can do and have limited powers and VPS has the admin powers with a unique single or multiple ips .... and this is in terms of windows ;)

RDP is a limited user on a shared OS, VPS is an OS that you will be admin and you can control it.
even you can install your ISO and have anew os :)

It's like comparing apples to oranges. Lets say you rent a windows VPS, you can control it through RDP. They aren't a complete separate thing, they compliment each other.

Remote Desktop Protocal as the name says is just a protocol that allows for REMOTE desktops to be accessed - mainly for windows systems, the linux alternative is a VNC.

Virtual private server (VPS) is a marketing term used by Internet hosting services to refer to a virtual machine for use exclusively by an individual customer of the service. The term is used to emphasize that the virtual machine, although running in software on the same physical computer as other customers' virtual machines, is functionally equivalent to a separate physical computer, is dedicated to the individual customer's needs, has the privacy of a separate physical computer, and can be configured to run as a server computer (i.e. to run server software).

Hope I helped.
