hidemyass is the most insecure there is. I tried them out and visited a few security test sites, all your info will be revealed. On top of that, they're US-based and keep logs.

I use several different VPNs, but a secure one I tested and recommend is blackVPN. PM me for a code that gets you 2 months free if you like.
 
This one is looking good, too, from afar, though I haven't tested it myself.

No UK / US VPN offered, though, and I really like being able to access Hulu / Netflix / BBC iPlayer on top of being safe. ;)
 
You can go with SwissVPN if you like, just make sure that you don't mind extensive logging. On top of that, SwissVPN doesn't even work with Zattoo. Gotta go with VPNSwiss for that. Same for the logging part though.

8/Mo. is more than 5 with blackVPN by the way.

As I said, I'd rather have a provider who doesn't keep logs but to each their own. :)
