Q: What is the file inactivity retention period?
A:
• Free users: Inactive files (0 views) are kept for 60 days before auto-cleanup.
• Premium users: Files are retained indefinitely as long as your subscription is active.

Q: What is the maximum file upload size?
A: You can upload files up to 1 GB per video (via Web Upload, Remote Upload, or Torrent Mirroring) in Free mode. Premium users can upload single files of several GB.

Q: What is the maximum storage allocation?
A: You can upload files up to 100 GB of content (via Web Upload, Remote Upload, or Torrent Mirroring) in Free mode. Premium users have no limits.

Q: Can I customize player settings?
A: Yes! From your dashboard, you can:
• Restrict video embeds to your specific domain names (Prevent iframe hotlinking).
• Hide/Show the direct download button for viewers.
• Toggle Anti-AdBlock enforcement.
• (Coming soon) Enable subtitle burning (SRT) directly onto encoded streams.
• (Coming soon) Player customization (colors, etc.) will be rolled up in the next update.

Q: How does Remote Upload & Torrent Mirroring work?
A: Remote upload works directly via HTTP/HTTPS links. Torrent ingestion is fully automated: paste the magnet link or torrent file, and encoding starts as soon as downloading completes.

Q: How are payouts processed?
A: Payouts are checked and processed daily with a low threshold of $10. We currently support BSC tokens (USDC / USDT / BNB) for fast and low-fees transactions.

🛠️ Fix: Video playback & audio issues with certain file formats​


We wanted to share a quick update regarding a bug affecting video playback and missing sound on some uploaded files (especially unsupported video codecs like HEVC/H.265 or files with non-standard audio codecs like EAC3).

What was the issue?

Our transcoding pipeline used an automated "fast copy" optimization to speed up processing whenever it detected certain stream profiles. However, this caused some files with unsupported video or audio streams to bypass necessary conversions, resulting in videos that wouldn't play correctly (black screen or loading errors for HEVC files) or had no audio on standard web browsers.

What have we fixed?
  • We've updated our transcoding engine to strictly analyze both video and audio codecs before any processing starts.
  • The system now intelligently splits its strategy: if a video codec is web-safe but the audio format is unsupported (such as EAC3), it performs a video stream copy while properly re-encoding the audio into AAC. For unsupported video formats (like HEVC/H.265), it forces a complete and reliable re-encoding into H.264 and AAC.
  • Affected pending jobs have already been reprocessed through the new pipeline.
Everything should now work smoothly across all browsers. If you notice any other playback issues, please feel free to let us know!

No worries, it turns out you can't watch while using a VPN.

Is there an option to reduce the ads? I checked when I opened the video and it always redirected automatically to the ad website.

Example

It makes it difficult for viewers to watch the video, I want to reduce it to 50% and there are no redirect ads, you are free to place any ads but no redirects

You are right, we understand you point of view.
We are currently testing several ads formats, and some of them seem to be highly disruptive.
I will immediately reduce the load of popunders, and make sure that the upcoming ad formats aren't annoying for the viewers.

A major rolling update will actually be pushed in production between Sunday and Tuesday, including the settings that allows the uploaders to select the percentage of ads they want to display on their embeds, in order to select the most suitable ads/revenue ratio that suits their viewers.

A better overview of the referrals will be included, as well as a dedicated panel for bandwidth metrics (regarding to the premium bandwidth subscribers). Some fixes are planned too (like the 1x1 poster, and UI improvement).

Last but not least, we would like to thank all the members that are trusting us so far. This is why we will enable a double-earning period soon, allowing them to double their daily earnings. I will reply on the thread to announce that once this period will start, stay tuned.

Our next message will confirm the update deployment and provide a detailed changelog.

We are rolling out a fresh update for Videro today, packed with new features, backend optimizations, and UI refinements based on your feedback. Here is a breakdown of what has been implemented and what is coming next!

✨ What's new​

  • Customizable Ad Tiers & Earnings System:
    • Implemented a new ad-tier system allowing creators to choose their preferred display mode (from Low to Max ads) directly from their account settings.
    • Default ad mode is now set to Max ads (100% earnings with Pops & native notifications). You can now select your preferred ad level through the settings.
  • Automatic 60-Day Cleanup Enhancement:
    • The automated cleanup for inactive videos older than 60 days now completely wipes out the original .mp4 source files from the storage, freeing up disk space in addition to cleaning up database links.
  • Premium Bandwidth Monitoring & Tracking:
    • Introduced automated tracking and live calculation for users with Premium Bandwidth.
    • The system now monitors active bandwidth packages (e.g., 10 TB, 25 TB, etc.), subtracts actual viewer consumption (video_views_log) in real-time, displays accurate usage breakdowns (Overall, Total used, Remaining), and automatically updates subscription/account status once depleted.
  • Remote Upload Update:
    • Removed Vidzy from the supported hosts list for remote uploads.
  • Settings Page UI Overhaul:
    • Redesigned the "Account Details" section with clean, grouped cards, enhanced layout styling, and added info-tooltips for security settings.

Do only the 100% levels have native notifications? Do the other levels—from 0% to 75%—only use pop-up ads?

Yes, native/push notifications are only activated on 100% (max) level.
Others have pop-unders (the amount depends on the level), and the low level only has a 5-sec banner shown upon loading, without popunders.

Depending on the feedbacks, we can adjust the amount of ads within the levels later on.

Sure, I've added it to the task list alongside the PayPal integration for payouts.

A quick follow-up to our previous update! As promised in our roadmap, we are excited to roll out the remaining features right on schedule.

✨ What's new?​

  • PayPal Payouts & Crypto: You can now request your payouts using either cryptocurrency (USDT/USDC/BNB on BSC) or directly via PayPal. Simply set your preferred payout method and destination in your account settings. Don't forget to provide your 0x address or your PayPal email address as well!

  • System Notification Bell: We've introduced a notification bell right in your dashboard header. It features an unread badge counter and an interactive preview dropdown. Clicking any announcement opens a dedicated reader modal with full details and dynamic read/unread status tracking.

  • Allowed Embedding Domains: A brand-new security option has been added allowing uploaders to restrict and block video embedding outside of their permitted domains: just enter a domain (or several, separated with a comma), and click on save. Your embed will be accessible only from the specified domain(s).

  • Platform Version & Changelog: The current version number (v1.10.12) is now cleanly displayed in the footer. You can click on it at any time to open the complete platform changelog modal.
