Video Surveillance System

guys , i want to setup a video surveillance system..

different areas i will install different cameras , how do i do that...any software (probably free)..

also i have my own several dedicated servers , any server side programs ?? etc ??

We use basic DVR and a monitor. The DVR costs around $100 and the monitor is $120. You can buy HDD and always have recording of the last 20-30 days(depends on the size) or insert dvd's and have recording from everyday. Just ask in your local store, its not that complex.
