I was mearly trying to point out that it's a personal preference so this thread could go on forever. Also I know for a fact that some of the people suggesting certain types haven't used the others. Therefore in my opinion these replies (the ones where they haven't used all of them) are childish and ill informed.

I would definitely use phpBB , it's free, opensource and you can find lotsa mods/themes for it.
