Use one domain with multiple servers

I have one domain with 2 subdomains and I want those subdomains point to different vps. How can I do this? an example:
images.chanbooru.com points to VPS A
videos.chanbooru.com points to VPS B
www.chanbooru.com points to VPS C

in DNS settings use A record to point subdomains to a different IPs

or just modify in the control panel of the server pointed for the root domain

i.e modify the record on controlpanel on server yoursite.com

Add images.chanbooru.com and videos.chanbooru.com as main domains on VPS A and B respectively and then edit the DNS zone of chanbooru.com on VPS C to add "A" records for both the subdomain to point to their VPS IPs.
