Recently UltraWarez.Net has changed its look. We have customized a skin. And I (Sl!M) want to know what you guys think of the new look.

I personally am not into the dark skins. Most Warez sites are. I was looking for something original. I still want to add new things to it. So new mods and stuff with be added periodically.



I would personally like to thank all who give me a constructive review.

im not really a fan of yellow either, but its certainly going along the "original" route. Maybe dampen the brightness down a bit, try mixing a little green in it to soften it.

The main thing is that if you like it, then stick with it and only try to please MOST of the people. You can't please everybody :)

Green is a good color to play with, maybe try switching the color scheme to green as primary and yellow secondary. Orange will also fit in easily, so use that as tertiary when needed.

The favicon is still the default vb icon....make one which will match the skin, use the site initials on it (UW) if you want. Is the site a special lemon site? What has lemons got to do with warez? (Sorry I have to be honest). Custom icons look great, the logo is a bit too simple it could do with a bit of tweaking along with the slogan. This - http://ultrawarez.net/images/VA_Arwa/statusicon/subforum_old.gif - Needs to be replaced with a custom one (keep in mind the new one too). Staff Applications before the Rules & Announcements isn't gd imo, since members see the staff applications first. Also what's with the CAPITALS under staff applications descrition? You could make it red or something - if you want the msg to get through. '' PLEASE INTRODUCE YOURSELF'' - Are they on board just to introduce themselves? If they want to introduce themselves they will. ''If you are caught selling bad product you will be banned.'' - ''Bad''? Under shop put this instead; ''Buy, Sell Or trade anything in here; All sales must be legit, if it isn't you may be banned.'' '' Download all types of music whether a CD, or just a single MP3.'' - ''whether a'' you missed ''its''. It should be ''whether its a''. Same goes for ''Whether is an application or a movie.'' it should be ''Whether its an application or a movie.'' For the ''Submitted Downloads'' couldn't you rename it to ''Guest Zone'', also you could install a prefix mod, where you can select on a thread title if its submitted or not. Lastly, '' These are post that are useless.'' - should be '' These are posts that are useless.'' Simple text for the register msg isn't good imo, use a register image, make it match to the skin. Overall 8/10, keep up the hard work! Ty.
 
skin is nice..it is ARWA from vb alien...
and you have customized it nicely..but there's a small bug in header
.hope you will fix it soon..
and also get a favicon :)
 
The light colors with white font is hard to read.
Colors does not seem rigid and are uncomfortable to the eye . I feel dizzy to be honest, maybe because of the yellow background... i don't know...
A lot of things are compressed together in this forum , although it is very cool and nice.
 
ok I like the theme but not the BG. Also on the left side you have this white section sticking out? I think if you find a BG with a duller BG it could work
 
Ya like everyone's saying the header is a bit bright but I like the original skin. The cyan color of the Registered Users names are very hard to read. Try making it a bit darker. Also you have the ''Offshore Hosting (DOWN)'' link in the header bright red and it's the first thing you see. Just make it like the rest and remove the down bit or remove it while it's down. You don't want to advertise that it's down and it says so in the link anyway.

EDIT: and IMAO you don't need to let guests see the text in the shoutbox
