i had the same issue with filefactory earlier this year, when clicked link to my file it showed me the download of some russian cellphone software. maybe some hackers tryin to increase their download count idk.
 
moogie made the mistake to go there and argued with them, there was another guy who did the same a couple of months of ago and now his business is dead, i dont remember the name of his filehost, the best is to ignore those guys from gfy

That was pretty dumb of Moogie to talk all that shit without making sure he could remain anonymous. I think he's runnin for the hills right about now..
 
Hmm I went and had a look at GFY and a bit worried about this turn of event.
Completely agree that he should have shut his mouth.

We all perfectly know what we're doing and "discussing" anything with those guys is just asking for trouble.
 
Thats not really a problem is it, gfy is just a adult webmaster forum, this Robert dude is just a private person.
Or did i miss the part where a little adult webmaster forum started to be judge and jury about everything that happens on the internet?

I'm just logging in to answer this one question, before you all start with your rumors.
I closed this thread here at WJ because I'm simply tired of answering the same questions from 100 different people every day. It's a waste of time that I can be using to make the site even better.

I was never anyway trying to be anonymous, or hide from anyone, as we are a legitimate cloud-hosting service. My name is on the DMCA page, along with Ultramegabit.com's Business Location. So I'm really unsure why he thinks he has uncovered anything special or significant.

What Robert King fails to realize that Ultramegabit.com and it's parent company Ultra Mega Corp are operating 100% in the law. We are 100% DMCA Compliant, and are 100% compliant in our contracts with visa, and mastercard.

We are a public service provider and at times our services are abused. When notified of any abuses by any rights holders or authorized agents (which he is not either), offending content is removed immediately. I still don't understand why Robert King fails to list the google transparency report on his sponsor companies Pornhub, Youporn, and all the rest.

Yes Robert has used his super sleuth detective skills, and his badge which he got from a cracker jack box to find a residence I 'used' to live at long ago. I'm not hiding from any organization. The address for Ultra Mega Corp is on the DMCA page clearly for anyone to read.

Come on guys, why are you getting all paranoid? What in fact has Robert done to any host? The extent of damage Robert has done to any cloud-hosting service was to take paypal and payza away. But yet on his whim, the US government is going to come in and raid our place of business, when nothing has been done to any other US based host. (MediaFire is one of the largest hosts in the world, and is in the USA)

There are no pending investigations on us, and there is no reason to be, we comply with all copyright law.

So Robert, this will be my last reply to you, as I truly don't have the time to waste chatting back and forth with you. You are no legal entity, or not an authorized rights holder, nor an agent for any, so there is no need to waste my time chatting back and forth with you. Besides, it's like trying to talk to a special Ed student. You go ahead and keep spouting off any thing that pops to your mind which you think will give you more leverage when it comes to begging for more money from your peons at gfy. We will still be here, running our quite successful cloud hosting service. I'm eagerly awaiting my 'letter'. I doubt one will be in my mailbox on monday though.

Do you work for Bitshare or 1 of the others no longer allowed here?

You seem to like to run down certain file hosts but never have a bad word for a few others.

I know what he is doing, it is posted in the closed support thread.

I am not going to answer your questions, there is a email address posted for support issues. But I would bet if you email those questions you will not get an answer.

Stop spreading rumors and trying to be smart, it does not suit you being you are uninformed/under informed.

He got tired of answering the same question many times over and it does not matter who found what. Remember all of you have said many times file hosting businesses are not illegal it is what the users put on them that is the problem.

Any more support related questions or statements of closure, etc. with out proof and the thread gets closed.

In other words stop your bull shit.

It is the whining, complaining, bitching, and crying along with the same questions page after page that caused his support thread closure.

I have already suggested to him that he removes those members responsible from the UMB affiliate program.
