Freemium is Free Premium Service. The only thing it means there is no higher level of service. All users get all premium services for free.

what is the lifetime for files stored on your service?

Yes! right now there is a 5 - 10 day for inactive files (actively downloaded files don't get removed), but come the new year, we'll be extending that.

The reason is because we're a completely free service, and we need to balance how much storage hardware we deploy.

Q1 of 2012 we will be paying for Embedded downloads aswell. We're just finishing our migration over to our new Data Center.
