Twitter followers or Facebook likes ?

Hey guys,
i got this idea 2day to make a facebook page (which i hate) so my fans can be likers or whatever and receive all my uploads at their mail , but another friend told me that twitter and the follower thing will be better idea .

so , what do you think ?
