Hi guys,

I would want to download files from my torrentflux to my rapidleech (both are on the same server) so I could unrar/rar and upload. Now the problem is that RL won't let me download from my own server.

It either gives me an error that the pass & username aren't right or that I don't have permission to download from my own server.

Now I want to be able to get those files in my RL by downloading those files my my torrentflux to rapidleech. For the time being I just stop the torrent to copy the files to rapidleech folder, unrar, and put the rar files back. But on a new torrent that means a couple op thousand kbps of upload that I'm missing out on.

Anyone here who could be of any help?

i do it this way and i think this is the best way get filezilla and just drag files from downloads in TF to RL files and the job is done in 1 sec hope this helps u

chmod the folder to 777 where the torrents are downloaded to

should be something like

directory torrentflux is in/downloads/user/ <--- chmod that folder to 777

and then just go to http://yoururl. com/directory torrentflux is in/downloads/user

and just right click copy link location

if you didn't set it up like default, pm me and i can fix it for you

That's the way I do it know, but I don't want that cause I have to stop the torrent every time.

@ Shadeslayer

Well, I made a new folder called "incoming" which is inside my rapidleech folder, I changed the torrentflux directory so it also downloads to files to the "incoming" folder.

the chmod of the folder is set to 777

rapidleech can't view inside directories(folders)so if its downloading to the incoming folder as well

you'd have to manually go to

domain.com/rapidleech/files/incoming and right click copy link location and then paste in transload box

Ok, so as long as I put the chmod of the folders inside the "incoming" to 777, I can get to it.

So 1 other question now that small problem is solved.

1. Does changing the folder permission to 777 effect the torrent I'm seeding? Like, could a tracker like ipt or scc ban you for this?

2. Is there a firefox plugin to copy all url's at once instead of having to do them 1 at a time?

1 no it doesn't affect the torrent changing permissions is more like giving more/less access to a file it's not changing the file its changing whether or not a certain person can access it, trackers wont bann you for having open permissions they don;t have access to your seedbox

and your actually just changing permissions of the folder, so that you can see it through your browser

2 im sure there is but i don't have one on hand sorry

To bad, will have to search for that. Thanks for your help shadeslayer, I tried so many things and it turns out to be something as simple as a chmod edit :))

If you have cpanel it's very easy.

Just go to your tf downloads directory, right click the file and move into the rl/files directory.

If you transload from your tf downloads dir with rl also that counts towards your bw allotment.
