Eh, I think this theme is fine. The spacing/placement issue on the homepage view and the few missing features are things that can all easily be fixed and tweaked. Beyond that it's just a matter of getting used to the look&feel, which you will. Give it a few weeks.

On a side-note, I think if you can tweak the homepage forum list in such a way that it "snaps" to a dual-column layout if the view width allows it that would be great fix, and at the same time it would feel more familiar given the previous skin. Not to mention many of the older members here (including me) have a thing for dual-column layouts. I'll blame mine on InWarez (RIP).

I disagree this is one of the best skins I've seen for XF and I've seen many as I've used Xenforo since they launched. It's also got that personal touch to it unlike many others.
