The new MirrorMaker

i miss the sort link function the v3 offered. I use mirrormaker to parse and sort out MU links
the new version will included the filename after the real link so its kinda sucks, other than that, pretty cool site
It does have a sort function that gives the MU filename after the link:
http://mirrormaker.org/sorter
the design looks better, but could be drastically improved.
and the functionality is non-existent...
It does all the same things as v3 did plus more, it's hardly reduced functionality. I got rid of the drop down boxes because it now auto detects what you're putting in instead of you having to manually select it.

it seems this v4 is for advertising more than anything :/
Because of 5 text links and a banner? Hardly. If you like I can make every page require a survey to be able to access it and fill it with pop unders, that's obtrusive advertising. At the end of the day, you're not having to pay a premium subscription to use the site, all the money from the ad spots pays the server bills, I'm not running it for profit, it's just a small hobby.

do not like the auto select, rather have the option to select what i want it to do.
also page loading is a lot slower

I said nothing about obtrusive advertising

also at the end of the day I don't use the site, if your worried about server bills try to find a sponsor? It looks better on a Non-profit site then selling adspots, or even ask people to donate for more frequent updates.

i meant to say that i want the links ONLY without the filename.
The old function had it, the new ones does not
Ah, just use the link checker then, as it won't give MU filenames but will extract and sort. :)

I've tried to find sponsors before, but could never find anything permanent. People rarely donate, and I can't commit to updating it all the time as I'm always busy with a lot of stuff.

No clue why it's slower as nothing is done on page load except to output the source and it's the exact same server as before :/

Im not talking about the process, im talking about loading of the internal pages (switching tabs and such) which is because of it not being ajax.

anyway gl =)

As already explained a few pages back, getting rid of the ajax pages was to help the seo of the site. Although I might try and come up with a solution that satisfies both problems :)

I think you should improve the contrast of the switch on/off buttons of the filehosts on the remote upload page.

What I mean to say is that when I click on the button of a certain host to select it for remote uploading, it's difficult to make out whether the button for that host is actually activated or disabled since the buttons look exactly the same in both active/disable state.

Btw, shadeslader, if you don't like advertising, pay for the running cost of the site. He is offering the service for free and he can do whatever he likes with his site. Nuff said.

Yeah that's me being a noob when I was rolling the jQuery UI. I'll try and get it changed soon :)

Don't call yourself a noob mate. I am learning programming languages at uni as part of my engineering course and if I ever become anywhere near as good a coder as you in future, I would be proud of myself :D

well i dont know why but i liked the old one better...it looked more fast then this one and also i dont see the option of parsing megaupload links will you be adding that later?
