Thanks or Like?

I want to see what you as members feel are most appropriate.

Current "thanks", or change the text to "like"?

Like, I think people can express themselves easily here so they won't "thank" someone for saying something, they'll just say it again, if you get what I mean :P

I think "Like" is better because sometimes I'm only pressing the button because I liked what they said...not because I owe them a thanks. It seems more comprehensive than "Thanks".

I prefer the combination of like + add rep. You can click like if you find the post funny or interesting, and you can add to someones rep if their post was helpful.

Guys why I see many comments about "Like it's better" 'cauz it makes sense and blah blah...
Thanks can be used for all the stuff. If someone helped you, you just press thanks, if someone said something that impressed you just press thanks in order to thank him for what he said.
Facebook influenced many people with the "Like" button...
