Take cover on rdp/vds ?

hi guys.. i want to ask any pro u know that can take 1 cover image from clips movies ?

mtn and thumbnail me take1*1 but i cant choose where i can take pic. sometimes they take shit screen and we cant change..

do you know any programme which i choose where i want to take single screen ?
