Okay, here is something new. At the moment you can increase your listing by placing a backlink on your site and sending hits (effects the listing in popularity sort mode only).

Now everyone who places the backlink on his site will receive 5 stars what means that his site will appear before all non 5 star sites in any sort mode on the main page and in category the site is listed in. And in the search results.

Maybe this is the reason:

Server #30 is under the DDOS attack
We're currently experiencing issues due to a DDoS attack targeting one of our server - Server #30. This is resulting in some of our customers located on this server sites being slow or even unavailable. Our admin team currently blocking attack source and server should back online shortly.
