What on earth is going on?
I got this email a few minutes ago, I had the partner with you by not letting me expire the unobtainable and small series I had, I trusted you, I have been with you for more than 4 years... and I only had you on the site.
Thank you, thank you for everything in that I was using that money for family and now I won't be able to since I wasn't using API or other things but it was all manual.
I still had $50 to withdraw then.
Email Message:
We want to inform you that we've terminated your account effective immediately.

Based on our Terms and Conditions - which you agreed on signup - we reserve the right to terminate an account in our sole discretion without prior notice.
We noticed an abnormal usage of our platform and you have been violating our copyright repeat infringer policy.

This decision is final. All files on your account have been deleted and we do not allow creating an account on our platform using new login details.

i think the reason he's banning the accounts is because multiple copyrights by users and i know you guys will say he wasn't like this before and what make him changes? i think its because what happend to doodstream when they appears in some sites saying that some companies will take them to court because of multiple copyright videos that has been uploaded there and doodstream wasn't deleting them i think, so maybe streamtape started to do this after what happend

Even if this happens to be true, it's not an excuse to run away with the money. It's not good for customers using the service either. Better to pay the money and send a warning, so that users can either continue or have time to transfer files elsewhere. I know it's silly to not have a backup, but I also trusted the host and had used them for a long time without issue.

If you got banned, that means you have violated our ToS several times. As written in our ToS, which has to be accepted on signup, we have the right to terminate your account in our sole discretion without any prior notice.

We don't take ToS violations lightly, but we're also making sure we don't have false positives.

And then check why it is impossible for a tiny site like mine that does less than 1000 daily visits to receive so many dmca all in a row.

Abuse and DCMA is a daily business.

Could have let us retrieve the last payment before fully banning the account.
Could have stopped the upload function and deleted all the files in the account with a message saying whatever reason you are giving to ban the account and telling the user to request the final payment and then could have banned the account after the payment is done.

I stopped using this website 3 years ago, just because his rude and stupid way of support, lol, I feel your sadness guys about ban without receiving funds, at least he most sent your earning before you got dmca notice on your clean files, Justice for ShitTape :grin:
 
They have blocked or banned my account.

I have already written to them twice in three days without receiving a response.

There was still money in the account, and I put in a lot of effort to upload everything. Now, all the files are gone.

They didn't even tell me the reason.

Obviously, they didn't pay me.
 
My account was also blocked and the files were all deleted. I had at least 7-12$ income per day for many years.

It seems that ShitTape is now shutting down after deleting customers one by one. With the number of complaints here, you should quickly look for an alternative. It will probably only take weeks until all of them have been deleted.
 
Ah okay so they are going to close and they are running away with the money by doing the worst possible thing and then maybe in the future reopen in another name pretending nothing is happening.

How pathetic, atleast have the guts to do one last thing right.
Pay the countless people what they are owed, who made you're platform what it is today.

Could not agree more. They only owed me $57 but it's $57 I put the work in for.
