hi guys,

just wanted to ask the API gurus,
how do you check all your list of links if it's live?

do you use sql / php to do it? where you store the list of links on sql and use php to request?
or use python?

really sorry i'm noob in the API and coding just started coding last week.
should I continue with my python training or should I abort and go with php / sql?

as checking for dead links one by one is killing my hands?
is there a better way of doing it, as previously you guys helped me with the python scrtipt,

even though I now can get the details how do I import it into some kind of excel or readable to know which links are dead? like maybe file id / status (200, 404, etc) list?

really sorry as I am really noob in this regard.
I just need someone to point me in the right direction and I will read the rest, as learning php / python from scratch is kinda overwhelming if you don't know where to start.

Thanks

Streamtape sending emails for DMCA removed videos (also, shown in the file manager --> Button "Claims"), so in your case, I guess you don't have to learn a programming language from scratch only for this purpose, just keep a database in excel for example..

You just check every file using the file info endpoint (remember you can check up to 100 file IDs at once) and cache the results in a database. With Python you can use a a lightweight ORM like https://docs.peewee-orm.com/en/latest/ for the database side of things. If you're only handling your own links it would be better to just programmatically handle the emails you get when files get deleted.

I wouldn't bother with PHP in 2020. It's a garbage language (IMO) and terrible at anything that doesn't involve rendering HTML.

For writing files see https://realpython.com/read-write-files-python/ and https://docs.python.org/3/library/csv.html.
