It may just be me but I m asking the admins or mod to implement a rule for the BUY/SELL/TRADE section. It bugs me when people post "good luck", "hope it sells", and other things in a thread that people are trying to sell something in. It just clutters the thread and can be a turn off to buyers along with it being annoying. It is pointless to do it doesn't help the seller it only adds to your post count.

So what I m trying to amend in the rules;
"That is someone makes a post in a Selling thread the post should be deleted and an infraction should be issued."

That would keep the forum clean of pointless threads in that section and hopefully provoke people from not saying pointless things in other threads.

Please replay with what your thoughts are and respond to the poll above!

EDIT: Some example thread that include what I am talking about;
1, 2, 3, 4 There are more then just those, but they are just examples of what I m talking about. Cluttering the thread and making it difficult for the seller to sell.

so basically you want only bids.

Yes clean to see highest bidder but then a lot more pm's to answer questions and stuff. (plus that 60seconds pm rule is annoying).

Overall not a bad idea

Well no questions would be allowed since it involves the item being sold. Just worthless comments that clutter the thread would not be. Yes it is going to have loose ends, but it would work out smoothly along with making the marketplace more enjoyable.

I agree completely, but they need to start somewhere and that is where it happens the most. Next would be hosting to control people spamming other web hosts threads with bad information. I really hope an admin reads this and agrees with it.

yea agreed. one other thing to add to the thread, there are tons of posts that are like

^^^agreed.

I know i do it from time 2 time, but some people do it all the time. that should also be looked out for.

Right and I m waiting for the admins to say they and the mods are doing the best they can.... I totally agree with them I just think adding tighter restrictions on threads in certain categories would make their life easier. It would hopefully prevent "fights" between members and reputation bashing etc. I think that this could really work if implemented correctly and the guidelines followed correctly. Like maybe a point system.
1infraction = warning
2infractions = 1wk ban
3infrations =2wk ban

It may seem harsh but it keeps things clean and they are simple rules to follow.

Please vote on the poll ^^

Good point guys. I believe any questions can be asked in the post. Cause It might be a question that someone else was wondering.

But other than that, it should be bids only. :)

1infraction = warning
2infractions = 1wk ban
3infrations =2wk ban

I like.

Right which is what I m trying to promote people asking questions in relations to what the buyer is selling. All I want is for the members to stop giving their opinion on the item being sold. Questions and Bids allowed, off-topic and useless posts are not allowed.

I say good-luck or nice item sometimes just to bump it up if its a good product and has fallen. It honestly is not a big problem at all. You guys are just looking for something to bitch about. If its not something small like this one day it will be something else tomorrow. Just settle down and enjoy the forum a little

Well I for one agree for a tiny bit, but as you can see I do this myself:

I think though this should be allowed, we're humans right? When you go buy a car, and someone says you can have this bmw for $10000, but you saw it elsewhere for $8000, don't you say "but uhm, I found the same car with less kilometers for only $8000". It's just normal. Or if the side mirrors would be broken, wouldn't you point it out, even if not buying it? I come looking at the Buy/Sell section for an FTP account, and see he is just selling for way too much. Why is it wrong to point that out? And if you look carefully at the responds, that guy is just a cheap ass seller, cause he doesn't even directly reply to my questions and basically ignores them, and then makes up his own reply. It's just an example of a bad seller.

Well to be honest you guys should be allowed to question any thread in the BST section, if it seems dodgy then ask questions about it and if the seller asks you to stay away it means they have something to hide.

I agree with the "good luck with the sale" type posts being deleted and user warned, there mostly posted purely to increase post count and they don't add anything of value to the thread.
