SMF to PHPBB Help please

I want to convert my SMF v.1.1.5 forum to PHPBB3 but dont know how. I have been on the PHPBB site and there is no detailed info on how to do it. All it says is:

The download should be unzipped into the phpBB root directory, so the auth_smf.php file will end up in the /includes/auth directory (this must be done to allow you to log in following the conversion).

What does this mean? Anyone can tell me step-by-step please?

well converting to phpbb is not that easy i was also thinking of the converting but it was too difficult for me too handel so i sutck with smf ..and why chnging to phpbb anyways ?

In phpbb support forums you have a php tool to easyconvert :p
