I'm seeking opinions and point-of-views, should I buy a PS3 or an XBOX 360?

Here's what I have. I currently own a PS2 and enjoy it very much.

I only need it for games :)

Help me decide?

PS3 not able to play new games you should but x360 check ps3iso.com working games are those who are 6 pr 7 months old and new games are hardly playble with jailbroken ps3 so get x360 all latest games playble on it.
 
PS3 is great but it's comming time to play new games bruh never mind we will play battlefield and the rest of theme will come the time bro like PSN games and other firmware i love my PS3 with sony LCD and HOME CiNEMA

xbox 360 very good joysticks + kinect :D

ps3 = Move didnt find it better than kinect ...

so xbox 360 wins :D
 
here is why & which

buy xbox 360 = (should be manufactured 2008 onwards with LiteON drive)
you can flash it & download games which are around 7gb , burn it & play it & you can buy original games which are cheaper then ps3.

Buy PS3 = expensive original games then xbox360 but worth every peny because ps3 graphics are way better then xbox360 even with extra features in games,
ps3 latest jailbreak which is out is fw 3.55, you can download games but games are in very huge space, 10gb to 50gb. (pain in ass for slow networks)
latest games wont play on fw 3.55 as ps3 upgrade security system which cannot play news games, but is there also possibility to patch the games & play on old fw, it is happening now.. & sometime.

biggest advantage you can play games from external usb / drive, you dont need to burn it.. it also possible at in xbox360 if you jtag it, only in internal hdd i think

overall PS3 Won..

xbox360 is another hand ok..

i will go with ps3,

My only concern regarding xbox is the red ring of death or whatever.

I read somewhere that 30% of xbox users have experienced this problem?
 
i thought the red ring of doom was in old xbox sets and they repaired it in the new ones

But my suggestion to u it that what ever u buy ,buy when Christmas deals start
 
JTAG'd Xbox 360 if you can. or just get a modded xbox360 with lt+ 2.0

PS3 = FAIL! (cant play any new games, as no latest hacked firmware)
 
PS3 is awesome and you'll get many new games which is not out in xbox 360, PS3 has many features and they're still updating it to keep it better than previous versions. many things to come. xbox 360. well believe me or not only 6 months or 7-8 months and you'll see your xbox is not working (i faced that many times) i wasted my money on 2 xbox 360's and same thing happened there is no xbox i've used it for 1 year only 7-8 months (max) i am satisfied and happy with PS3

so i say "PS3" but ps3's cds are kinda expensive but its worth to buy
 
4gb HDD is enough, unless you want to buy movies and games with credit card/points every single day.

from my experience 4GB HDD is enough.
