Nope, there's no way to manipulate topics in SharpLeech 1.

This has been said so many times. But yes, try adding "www." to BOTH the login and new thread url. This is because some sites set the cookie domain to ".domain.com" instead of "domain.com". SharpLeech 1 doesn't sync the cookie domains with the used url's which causes the site to reject posts/cookies.

The day SL2 drops is the day I'll be a happy man. No more repeating, no more complicated url's.
