Hi SoulEater, since it loads each image at random each time the script is called there is a 50ms delay.

Would you be interested in using a banner ad that loads text links instead of images? It would load a lot faster. I will see about making one up of verious sizes for use in VB navbar/header areas.
 
@optimus. I have created a Vbulletin plugin, check out http://www.wjunction.com/showthread.php?p=83623.
It will be good that you should create a banner add too(800*90), so it load much faster.. Also your site was down in the noon time, so it will also affect our forum, coz our site will only load after all the php code gets loaded..

Edit: i also used your text php code, and its loading time is same as the image code..

suggestion:you can create a xml flash banner, its really simple but you need to update the images every week..

SoulEater, perhaps the slowdown is on your hosting side. Look at a site using DDLCMS, which is loaded with the same image and text links, they load instantly.

Here is an example, the text links and image buttons load fast than your page:

Also check the demo sites using DDLCMS here (hosted on various servers):

The main page of each site has the buttons and also the sponsored links at the top are Sharingzone text links -- they load instantly.

Sorry xSiamex, I did edit the post, but I should have reported it again... It has been implemented and now permalinks include affiliate codes in them.

Great work on creating a plugin. If we use it, you will get a bonus on your next payout.

And again, the links seem to load slowly on from your server, they load fast on other sites eg. http://www.coolddl.net/topsites/in.php?id=testing

New banners are being made right now, HTML banners, PHP banners, flash banners and also Xml flash banners -- these will be available in the members area shortly! Thanks for the suggestions SoulEater! Cheers.
 
Didn't make a sale even with the optimizations,I really think it's my traffic if basically anyone can make a sale.

@switchblade: I've been using tons of paysites and clickbank,sharingzone used to be on clickbank also,it made me some big $$$.
 
damn thats bad CyberJ37, my old ld ratio was 250:1. A bad ratio is 1000:1

But really it all depends on the traffic sources and they kewords demographics e.g keywords that attract the less smart people earn better.
 
im pretty sure i had a free account at that site...it was when i discovered some exploits in downloadnova and this site too
 
my ratio too is around 3500:1, but LD was also converting similar.. now im suspecting its my traffic source, although 60%-70% of my source is google traffic.

250:1 is more like a few lucky sales u got. 1000:1 is a gud ratio for me. ;P
