It certainly is possible, and it won't take any downtime either.
Only your account specification will change, no data will be lost or any other interruptions.

Yes there is FTP and sFTP access to your files via FTP client or DirectAdmin control panel ( access via browser ).
You can also access your files via browser if you add this to your .htaccess file:

The discount applies to new orders only, so if you order now with the 50% discount it won't apply to the upgrade price, however the 25% lifetime discount will apply.

Thanks for your feedback, however we believe that these packages are well-made.
2GB is for the tStarter pack, as it name suggests it is a Starter Pack.
Also keep in mind that this is a shared service, we tend to provide best possible quality ratio.
Semi-Dedicated and VPS coming probably next week, so stay tuned folks !
