What do I have to do?

Well, it's rather simple.. The person with the most referrals on Scenator.com by January 20th, 2012 6:00PM (-6GMT) will get to choose 1 of the 3 prizes, it's completely up to you.

If your not good at referring anybody don't worry cause that's not all! The person who is most active on Scenator.com by January 20th, 2012 6:00PM (-6GMT) will also get to choose 1 of the 3 prizes.


Rules!
- 1 account per person, anyone who disobeys this rule will be disqualified.
- Anyone found spamming for activity will be disqualified.
- Must be registered on Scenator.com in order for your referrals and activity to be watched.
- Must reply to this thread so with your username on Scenator.com

What is a Reversed Proxy?

With reversed proxy you are able to proxy your server. This means that we can hide your server IP and location. This will make you fully anonymous and fully private. Example: You have a server in the USA, and you have a DMCA sensitive website. We all know that you have to comply within 24 hours in the USA. If you use our reverse proxy your server will be virtually located in one of our locations. Which gives you more time and freedom. The laws of our location still apply.


Which servers can I use the discount with?

By that I mean, you do not have to refer anyone. If you have entered the contest and are the most active out of all that have entered, you win.

When I say active I mean posting, being around in the chatbox, helping out others. Stuff that gets you known on most forums.

I hope that clears things up?

From my experiences, vBExperience is very flawed. A person could post one word responses to every thread and get 100 posts and he would have a higher activity % than a guy who spends time and effort into making 10 well-done posts. Should use a better method of judging. Perhaps judge by yourself or get a trusted member from WJ to do so.
 
Tip:
Probably, we shall have a mod that counts no of threads/topics started!
that take care of all the things
threads are counted from particular sec's only which do help Senator to grow.
so Many hits to the thread count = Winner!!

The stars are useless, but I'm just saying.
 
ajinkya9, lets just not start a comparison between two things.

The winners will be selected not only on the basis of any other thing, but members spamming to get the prizes will be banned or warned about it.

It is not only about the prizes also, because the prizes will last only days, but being a part of a community is not a material that will run out

Okay, this is how I am going to measure activity. I have 2 mods installed, ones called vBCredits which gives users credit points based on referrals, registration, posts, replies, threads created and many other variables. The other mod is vBExpierence which uses math to determine ones activity based on many different variables.

As I am picking the winners if a user has a high activity percentage I will check their threads made, posts, replies and etc. If a user has high activity but no posts or little points, obviously something is wrong.

Over course they're not, it's just math. We use these mods as guidelines. Depending on how many people participate we'll check the top dozen users posts for quality contributions and not 1 work responses. It's fairly easy to keep track of members :)
