We have finally finished testing sBorg v3.0 and it is now available on our servers for download.
Remember that you cant upgrade to the new version using your current installer. Due to the changes to installer, the sBorg version installs in a totally different way from the others. You will need to delete your sBorg folder and download our new sBorg installer. The link to sBorg installer is still same so you can download it from the link in your email. If you have lost the link, just email us with your paypal ID and we will provide you with the link to our installer. Both windows installer and universal installer are working now.
So whats new in sBorg v3.0?
We had the largest to-do list on sBorg v3.0, so big that it took us about 1 month to complete! This is our largest built and the features are also EXTRA LARGE! As usual, sBorg supports both Windows and Linux. So most of its features, like multi-screenshot maker (takes screenshots of multiple video files), advanced file rename feature are available on both windows and linux.
On top of that, sBorg v3.0 features advanced integration with almost all Torrent clients. All you do is go to “Setup” and enter the download directory of your torrent. Then all the folders in the directory you specified will be available in sBorg for uploading. But thats not all! If you are on Linux server, sBorg can even download torrents for you! Just follow the instructions in the manual to install “Transmission” and sBorg will take over. Upload your .torrent file and sBorg will download, extract, take screenshot, rename and do everything else that you want it to before uploading it to the remote file servers you have selected. Best of all, you can close the window once it starts running and it’ll email you when everything is done.
Want to download something else while your torrent is downloading? No problem. sBorg’s multi-instance capabilities have been improved so you can run sBorg in different windows of your browser while your torrents are being downloaded in some other window.
Feel like your sBorg host cheated you by saying you have used more bandwidth? Now sBorg will even tell you how much bandwidth it has used. The integrated bandwidth meter will count and display on top right of your screen while you are using sBorg.
We have also integrated a license checker. So now you can check how many you have left and buy more if needed.
Unfortunately, we were not able to add support for Filesonic due to their javascript uploading method on this release. However, we have integrated Real-Debrid.com premium link generato, which can generate direct links for over 50 filehosts! We will add some new upload filehosts in later versions.
