This is all happening because of stupid idiots who work with web and seem to forget that downtime problems are common, and then opened against Somik disputes on Paypal, which made everything wrath down once. Would not hurt to wait for a solution.

I am highly dependent sborg, then I'm for any solution that does not stop the service:

- Sale of license installation
- Sale of licenses forever (like software)
- Prices are more expensive if necessary.
- Opening for donations.

or others that may offer, this script is too powerful and we do save many hours of labor.

This started because PayPal itself placed the payment to Leaseweb on hold. And Leaseweb cancelled all servers and deleted all data.

It was not caused by anyone's disputes or claims on PayPal.

Thats what i am talking about
lets forget about the paypal and start again with webmoney
why cancel the whole thing?
just start with a few servers first then expand it on webmoney payments

Kinda hard to buy new servers when all funds are stuck in paypal...... They're not cheap.

And not all server companies accept webmoney as payment method. I don't know about leaseweb, but I think they only accept paypal....

and there's no point in getting inferior servers that will only cause everyone to complain of super slow upload speeds....

Good or bad this is the situation right now
and i meant that they gather the money then they spent it on new servers
and believe me if you have the money there is always ways to spend it that is not a real problem
we can't count on paypal anymore on this business or any web base business if you ask me
this American system are trying to form eveything in their order and this won't work
we should change the way right now as soon we figure it out as soon we'll pass the problem

1 - Big Problem with OS
2 - Temporary Inactivity
3 - Many disputes so
4 - Problem solved
5 - Freezing the payment due to these problems
6 - Leaseweb Server cancel due to lack of payments
7 - Total Downtime and data loss

This my conclusion after evaluating all available information here in the Sborg Facebook, and people who spoke Somik.

If it is for only license server then the server requirement would be much less than what a hosting server would need. So keeping the license server and selling the install tickets shouldn't be a very bad strategy if compared to abandoning the sborg project(which would be really really sad).

Thanks for all the support!

I've spoken to Somik and he's in favor of keeping the license server up. He has also planned a maintenance activity on the server to optimize it and keep the load steady. If the load can be brought down, then we can dump the costly server and try hosting it on a shared server (this isn't confirmed yet)

As far as the script and updates are concerned, I'm trying to takeover the system and have requested Somik to help me out with the initial stages/setup. It would be a slow activity but I'll try my level best to make up for the lost time.

yeah.. this is a good news

You will get our full fledged support mate.

Thanks for the initiative. You know you & your decision will be remembered if sborg keeps on.

thanks halcyon. can you please pm me your Skype/msn if possible. I would like to start a sborg hosting service but I don't know if its in demand here. need your opinion

^ Not right now. The installation files are not available on our server, so there's no point buying an install ticket.

I'll get the websites online first and get the basic stuff needed to run sBorg from Somik.

We're uploading the sBorg installation and the license files to the server. If your sBorgs (not hosted on our servers!) are down, don't panic - they'll be up in a while:)

Thanks for remaining patient - we're done with the backup process and you should now be able to install sBorgs on your respective servers. Raise a concern here if you're still unable to access your self-hosted sBorgs.

And we're back online: site.sborg.us :)

While restoring the main website, our custom scripts didn't get loaded properly. I've asked Somik to check the "Purchase Plans" page again and it will be taken care of soon :)

I'll post the info here and on FB whenever that happens!

Purchase Plans page is back up (It was up since past few hours but I hadn't checked my email!)

Payza seems to be down - not sure why, will follow up with Somik to get it working.

Paypal - well, lets wait for a while -_-
