Hello WJ Users.

Host Hong Kong is looking to hire sales and marketing personnel to start around November.

The position requires the following:


  • Knowledge in the hosting industry and common products/services.
  • Basic technical knowledge of technologies typically used in hosting businesses
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • An outgoing, friendly and charismatic demeanor.
  • At least 18 years old.

You may benefit from the following:


  • More advanced knowledge of hosting technologies. (Perhaps basic admin work).
  • Past experience in the hosting business.
  • Past experience with online marketing or sales.
  • Chinese, either Mandarin or Cantonese.

Remuneration can be in the form of Basic Pay + Commission or Commission only depending on hours worked, experience and performance!

Commission on sales are recurring for the life of the client which can lead to higher earning capacity and long term rewards. Our client retention is extremely high so long term commitments to us will certainly yield long term rewards! Typical sales commissions range from 10% (Dedicated Servers) to 30% (Shared Hosting).

Notes for your consideration:


  • Our company offers hosting services in the US and Hong Kong (mainly Hong Kong).
  • We do NOT offer bullet proof hosting, nor do we want the clients attracted by that kind of service.
  • We are a registered company in HK and can pay in USD or HKD via Paypal or Bank Transfer.
  • This is a remote position. We would require invoices for serviced rendered. This is not an 'employment' roll.
  • A basic pay only position is NOT available. For applicants wanting a basic pay with commission, targets would be set on a monthly basis. Commission is paid on sales above set targets.
  • Commission may be delayed up to 3 months in case of charge-backs, fraud, or refunds. Normally, only a portion of the earn commission would be delayed with the majority being paid out and the end of each month.

Amazing how many people here work so hard for a few bucks uploading copyright content, illegally, yet so little interest in honest work.
 
What do you mean?

The position is flexible and if located in HK, can provide proper employment with an employment contract, MPF contributions and paid annual leave. But if not located in HK, then it makes it difficult so this is more of an open offer.
 
I'm interested. Every time I see a post like this I write a custom CV and resume. The story always ends like this:- I wasted my time applying as the employer didn't have the capability to pay or they were expecting more than what they suppose to get.
