Starting from 13.02.2013. after their announcement, that they will stop publishing direct download links, RLSLOG decided to pull the plug on links, and from now, their site is nothing but ad infested release info blog. Where once were links, now they are offering google search link.

There's no links in comments, no links in main post, comment section is closed.

So, what do you think about that?

They gonna die slowly. I mean, who wants to visit a site with just info on releases when they can get info+links from a million other blogs?!

And anyways, they were getting slow with their releases as compared to other blogs out there!

Edit: They could survive if comments were enabled, like scnsrc.

he will die slowly -- most the visitors don't care about the info
they look what the new + download links
without that he will lose his traffic to another sites

Craziest thing I think I've ever seen. The scene has totally changed. We are slowly going from saturated to dilapidated.

Probably not a bad thing really To0 , with less large sites like that with dupe links posted everywhere is a good thing for warez in my opinion. Maybe things will go back to actual real communities like there used to be sharing links, instead of just 100s of people spamming the exact same posts across 100s of forums, most times without even visting the places they post, just using auto-posters. I think its a really good thing. Im sure the uploaders around here wont agree as the more sites that go this route effects their bottom line, but for those that were in it long before all these filehosts started paying money, i personally think its a good thing.

It's a good thing, but still sad to see. The scene was flooded with sites, and now everyone is running for the hills with their tails between there legs.

It's wide open right now, can't wait to see what it's going to be like in a few more years.

Wide open yeah, but the pressure has increased over the years To0. Why would he fuck up decent money income just like that?

They don't add links only for movies and TV shows categories (sharing music and games is still allowed :) ). Well the big ones are always first on the line of fire, so this is not a big surprise for me.
